نعم يدعم ريدمي 9 الشحن السريع بقدرة أو استطاعة 18 واط ويتمي ببطارية ذات سعة تخزينية كبيرة نسبياً 5020 ميللي أمبير. إلا أن الشاحن الأساسي للهاتف يأتي بقوة 10 واط فقط لذا لن تستفيد سوى من 60% من قدرة الشحن السريع. ويمكن حل المشكلة بشراء شاحن جديد باستطاعة أعلى.
